soooo its been a while between blog posts...my bad.  life has been slightly less exciting with the start of classes.  i'm taking 4 classes, most of which are pretty interesting.  I'm taking tropical aquaculture (really interesting), invertebrate biology (not interesting at all), marine conservation biology (would be really interesting, but our lecturer sucks and makes everything boring) and australian and pacific exploration (could be interesting if the professor gets her hawaii facts straight...if not, i'll probably lose all respect for her, HA).  this weekend i'm going on a 2 day field trip for my aquaculture class.  on saturday we're going to visit a grouper aquaculture facility, its mostly R&D there since the program is pretty new, but it has some production.  on sunday we're going to a barramundi farm, which is pretty much operational, i think.  today i went to the pool down by the river since i didn't have class.  the pools are super nice, and theyre free for everyone.  its super cool, there's two huge infinity pools that are somehow hooked up to the river, so theres new water flowing in all the time.  water was a little cold, but it was pretty hot so it felt good.  the other day me and jamie made another trip down to the chinese market, where i found a bunch of stuff that got me super stoked...aka lupchung, lupyook and some KIMCHEE (its a little sour tho...) so we've been doing some good kine cooking.  we cooked a bunch of barramundi a couple different ways, and made a big pot of shoyu chicken that turned out surprisingly well.  and now...i kinda ran outta things to say sooo i think i'm gonna go make some more shoyu chicken for leftovers hehehe.  chutes!
